Fantastic ! Great to see you working on your watches and imparting knowledge. Thanks Jocke.
Every time I see you do that I am amazed at the outcome from what you started with! Great job.
Excellent post Jocke, thank you. I persevered beyond the body gunk shot!
Excellent work. How did it get in that state in the first place?
Just wow! You make it all look so easy although having the right equipment helps. It's a stunning watch that now looks....stunning again.
Thanks for sharing.
I rather like it with the original 'patina'!
Excellent work, and an interesting topic. Thanks.
Great photos
There is something intensely satisfying about looking through that album. Twice.
Very, very nice work.
Great narrative and pictures - thanks for posting it
Thats one hell of a lot of gunk!!!
Stunning result as always Jocke!!
Chris
Good'work (clearly!!!)
But, it begs the question, how on earth did you get it into that state in the first place?
A stunning transformation, fantastic !
Is that like as in say, Yogi bear ??digging in the garden with your bear hands??
Great job, well done.
Remind me of these kind of before and after weight loss photos!
Fantastic results. Great post!
Very nice work, I bet you could have cleaned up that crystal though. My Dad's Seiko had an acrylic crystal that was almost as bad and it came up like new with the application of Brasso and significant force.
Very nice job!
That's great. You make it look so easy! Really beautiful looking watch even with the wear and tear.
Thanks guys.
I work with old cars and my customer didn't clean them.
That must have been a "birth right" watch ;-)
