The dial is matte black, gray with a structured sparkly look when in direct light. Pretty cool!
This is my third "swiss made". The first was a el primero 1969, second was a 116600, and this is the third;
JLC deep sea chronograph.
28800bjp, 65hrs pwr, chronograph indicator (white= ready! white/red= in use, red=stopped).
100m WR and ISO-certified for diving. You can use the chronograph function under water, but it's not recommended.
42mm.

Very cool, congrats! I've had my eyes on one of these for a while. They look rather special.
This JLC looks great!
"That are two different watches. The lower one is a two register chrono @ 40,5mm with a fixed bezel."
Indeed. The lower one is the one he prefers.
Great looking watch. I'm also considering getting one despite the less than "deep sea" water rating. I wish they gave the option to get it on a bracelet.
This is one of my absolute favourite watches. Stunning!
Not seen one of those before. Very smart.
Absolutely bloody gorgeous!
That's a beauty. Congratulations.
Both models above are stunning watches.

Lovely piece. Congrats!
Lovely! I don't like the 'automatic' script but not enough to stop me wanting one.
First JLC. Great moment! And you picked a good one
Very nice pick up!!!
Impressive watch
Wonderful watch, but you need to get that swollen forearm to a doctor ...
Very nice indeed... New to me... Thanks for sharing!
Love these. So versatile, I think they'd be a good contender for a one watch collection.
Thats a killer chrono, wear it in good health.
I really like those. Good choice!!
In many ways an ultimate diver, congrats!
