    Incoming - old Rolex

Just came across this 1946 Rolex.

Might send her off to the RSC for some tlc!

Looks like that'll scrub up nicely!

    Nice!

Sort the crystal out and leave the rest.

A clean, crystal and movement service is all I'd be wanting for that. I wouldn't think about touching the case. Love it as it is.

RSC will not touch that I don't think, too old.
    Try Duncan Potter at Genesis.

Oh I am very much liking that. My eyes have gone as green as the crystal on your Milgauss *drools* :) I'd agree with the others, new crystal, service and that would be it. The dial and lume on that are gorgeous.

Very nice indeed. As others have said, I can't see Rolex touching that. Size-wise it compares favourably with the Milgauss - what is it, 32mm?

It is 32mm. Looks a bit small after the milgauss but all in all a great watch.

Love how the lines from it can be clearly traced to the milgauss 69 years later.

Lovely looking Rolex, bit of attention on that crystal and that will look great.

Called the RSC, as advised they won't work on such an old watch, however they recommend Steven Hale.

    Ouch, they are expensive though!!
