Mido Multifort -- info wanted

Hi all

anyone know anything about this watch?

It's a Mido "Multifort" with a little bumper automatic movement.

The small (c. 28mm) hexagonal case is numbered between the lugs 552756

Came on a Bonklip-esque bracelet.

Not working but seems to be all there (ticks a few times after a shake)

Not sure about the numbers, but the Mido Multifort was *probably* the first automatic, anti-magnetic, water-proof and shock resistant watch (c1934). The movement may belong to the Mido 816/7 - or possibly A Schild 1081 - family.

I rather like these.

James Bond's first watch was a Mido Multifort.
