    Not your everyday purchase...

I see from the news that a fellow Corkman has treated himself to a little indulgence:-

Granted, it is a slow news day!

Someone with the surname Ryan or Smurfit I suppose. Or possibly Hewson.

I assume the person who bought it wasn't from Cork

I'm not sure any of those three would be likely to shop in Cork. I have a couple of likely suspects in mind; one I know has a JLC tourbillon, but this is obviously in a rather different league!

It's not often I read about any place on this website where I can say, "Yeah, I've been there!". But I spent an excruciating 15 minutes in the store next door ("Lush") waiting on the wife to decide what kind of designer soaps and lotions she had to have. If I'd known Keane's was packin' that kind of heat I would have popped on over to take a look. To be honest, it doesn't look like the kind of place you'd expect to find a PP.

Rumour is that it's Mr O Leary of Ryanair fame and that the owner has a reputed 30 PP watches in his collection already.
