Thread: Cant quite put my finger on this...

Cant quite put my finger on this...

Done a bit of an internet and forum search, but cant find a watch that matches the one I saw on the wrist of a guy I was introduced to today.

Omega watch - looked to be 45mm case.
From the bracelet and bezel it was planet ocean family, but with the skeleton hands of a regular seamaster and the colour scheme of one of Omegas regatta watches (yellow detailing).
Ive seen a couple of the regular seamaster regatta models, but never this one in the flesh.

Any of you immediately know this model - or even if it is genuine?

If not, fair do's - not all that important...

That's the thing Rajen, the bracelet was definitely a PO bracelet, and lm almost certain the bezel was PO family too... Fake?

    A little excessive perhaps...
...but, at the level he's trying to play at, if its a fake then, as someone who's into watches, certainly be a little disappointed...

Sounds like the very definition of a Frankenfake.

Doubt it, probably just a straight up fake.

He's intimating that it is possibly a mishmash of genuine parts on a fake watch. Or more than likely it's just a cheap knock-off cobbled together with parts from a few different watches.
