Think I'd just leave him and hope the other two get lost and never seen again, gone off the boil a tad for me .
Episode 6 of 10
Season 22
"In this week's programme, Richard Hammond is dropped into the remote, frozen wastes of Canada to test a watch with a built-in emergency beacon. The distress signal is sent directly to Jeremy Clarkson and James May, who get their hands on two machines and set off on an epic adventure to find their colleague"

The ambulance conversion episode was a little daft but the last couple of episodes in my view were very good and a well balanced combination of fun antics and real car stuff.
record it and use the >> button a lot these days ...
Two words will make me watch it tonight.
Gillian and Anderson.
I love TG but agree that this season has been cringey rubbish. Maybe 5-10 minutes throughout each episode that i've found myself enjoying.
Butttt... i'll still watch it again tonight and next week and the week after.
It's not the Breitling 'Emergency' is it? I've seen reports that if you pull the 'emergency' plug out too hard/quick, you can snap the fine, coiled aerial wire, thus rendering the emergency function useless. I think this watch is a bit like the whistle they always tell you about when giving the safety anouncement on your flight abroad. If you've ditched in the sea, miles from anywhere, no-one is going to hear you blowing a whistle, or fiddling with your watch, just take a deep breath and look out for that desert island. Or just drown............................................. ................................................
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!
im taping it to watch when mum and dad get back from their evening strole, ....yes believe it or not we still record on VHS
I was going to apologise to everyone for making them watch Top Gear tonight and the relative lack of "watch content" in spite of the Breitling being crucial to the item. And then Gillian Anderson came on ....................................
She is great. I think I'm in love.
Well, it wasn't about the watch, it was about the pick-up trucks. If the watch didn't exist (so they could take the mick out of people who play golf and "do business") they would have used a beacon. I downloaded it earlier and I wasn't paying attention to the whole programme but I don't believe the brand was mentioned once.
Quite! And then Gillian Anderson came on ....................................

Sorry.....what's this VHS thing you're talking about...?
my lad was watching it and laughing his head off at Hammond having troubles in the snow and the other 2 living it up in comparison, it's an entertainment show based loosely around cars, see it for what it is, but it isn't everyone's type of humour
I enjoyed it, but I too would like to see more real cars in the program.
