Finally got hold of one, G10 content

After looking for the right one for ages, ive finally struck it lucky and got a 1980 no circle piece, and I couldn't be happier

    First pic

wears different to my regular one, in remarkable condition, only . issue is has a chrome tension ring fitted that needs addressing

Suppose I might as well look for an 85 medium case now to join the family

Very nice! That's the one subspecies of G10 I'm still searching for, just for the sake of completeness if nothing else.

Very nice. Peli cases are dangerous things...they just beg to be filled don't they!

Their the same as all watch boxes, they just don't look right with empty spaces. By my man maths I can only wear 1 watch at a time, so there will be 3 spaces.. ergo I need 3 watches to fill.

    But,

Then if I wear something non military I'd have a spare watch with no space, so I need another peli. Then that's another 7 I need to fill that.

    3rd world problems !!

Very nice, going to cost a lot especially with 20% vat added ontop of the finishing price.
Will have to watch the auction and resist the bid this time though

Missed what it went for in the end, keep looking at cwc issued divers now. Taking me away from W10 issue.
    But,
It's a issue quartz that only comes in 0552/0555 issue numbers as a as I know, still the lookout continues unless anyone here has one they want re homing

What's wrong with it Charlotte ? It's definitely one worth being fixed. Jealous of your job getting first refusal on any watches that come in

Movements gone & they are obsolete :( haha I wish,my jobs hard work but every day's amazing :)

[QUOTE issue is has a chrome tension ring fitted that needs addressin[/QUOTE]

Try anchor supplies as they used to have a few of the matt tension rings for sale when I was last there.

As asked earlier, did anyone notice what the '80 navigator went for in the end?

    Peter

What's the one top right, is it a Pulsar? I had a PJN a few years ago that I bought and sold for around £25, now they're like hen's teeth and go for about £100.....

Yes it is a Pulsar, commonly know as the Gen 2 and is the current issue watch for pilots and aircrew after the PJN were deemed not safe for aviation use.

The Eagle eyed amongst you will notice the difference, fortunately the pair only cost me sub £35

There's CWC 1980 Fat Case Navigator on eBay at the moment - just under 12 hours to go and still under £175.

All you need is a real Pulsar Gen 1 instead of the civvy version.

Correct, the Civvi version was my first military style chrono as as a present when I passed out, I don't find it particularly comfy so doesn't get alot if any wrist time so not bothered to get a issue version unless one fell into my hands.

Wondering if anyone could help me, I'm potentially looking to move on my pulsar gen 2 and my pjn as they don't get worn, ever. The gen 2 has been work twice since new and still has protective backing etc. Much rather a Precista fat boy.
my question is what sort of value would be placed in them ?

If it's not worth me selling then ill just keep them in the collection, any advice much appriciated.

    Many thanks

    Got One

Got one of these, didn't cost me a penny either!

If I could work out how to upload pics I'd post them
