Here is one of three vintage models I have.
I also have a bronze 'tank' model with crown at 2 and a swivel lug Amphibian.
Vintage Vostok lovers might find this as funny as I did:
Explanation for the rest.
During the cold war period, the soviet Mod had a quality asurance office on the premises of the Vostok plant.
The watches which passed this office were intended for military service and the dials bore the blurp: 3aka3 mo cccp
giving rise to desireable ´3aka3´ or zakaz Vostoks.
It simply stands for ´in order of´ hence it features on the 2415 caliber I ordered. Still a fun association with the vintage coolskies.

I had one of those back in the day as well. I remember we used to call that model "block numbers".

Here's my recent one:
and my other '3aka3' but by order of something else can work it out?
The recent ones are indeed on par with pre-transition period.
The earlist ones are a trifle different but that is irrelevant.

I just realized that my early eighties 'tank' 3aka3 is all in vogue again.
It is the brass dial version (and with the proper, awesome, SU double telescopic spring bars) of
and all I need is a rugged strap with oversize brass buckle to make it fashionable ;-)
First however the thing next on the roll after the '3aka3skie' photo; authenticating my 195yc.
Just found this one in my mandrawer.. unmolested and all original from 198x.. I'm not really in to Ruski watches so not quite sure if it's any good..
Thanks for the heads up Petrus, it needs a bit of TLC as well, will report back.
