    As promised.....

    G and Sangria in Lanzarote.

Funny that I wore it as a chap came up to me to compare Mudmasters! He was drawn by my Camo strap.
He had a nice orange dial, on a very dark green camo strap - looked awesome.

Is the one on the right, the one with the orange numerals?
That strap looks very similar/identical(?) to the one I was shown yesterday.

It's the Maharishi Mudmaster Andrew. Orange digits indeed. Strap is very unique.

Should be the same. What's the problem? Think they have tutorials on YouTube if that's any use
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

My trick when mounting a bracelet on a 6900 or 5100 is to use a tiny bit of washing up liquid to help them in

I’ll give them another go tomorrow as I’m off to work now, watched tutorials thought it would be a breeze.
I’ll give the fairy liquid a go and maybe try and trim the adaptors if needed, just can’t get the spring bar to click in.
    Cheers for the advice.

Just sourced one of these bad boys from my local A D
    (Argos if you are interested)

Spent a while looking for an analogue model to gradually replace my long faithful and trusty 6900, as I'm finding the watch harder to read at night in my old age.

It took me a while to find a model that suited my requirements :

    Solar - check

    Multiband - check

    Analogue hands - check

    KTM home city - check

Not overly large or looking like it was designed for eight year olds on drugs - check

Suitable for inclusion in carefully composed vanity shot with half drunk artisan cappacino in background - check

Not impressed about the lume or LED light but I can guess I can live with that.

    Time will tell.

    Robdad has one

They are nice, specially with the seconds hand. Cheap on amazon at the moment. Shame they don't do a solar version.

Yep - really impressed actually. Dw6900 sized, backlight very bright (on dial and lcd) and very legible handset with a second hand that hits all the markers bang on. Lume on hands but not indices means you’ll use the light quite often - plus you can start the stopwatch with one press like the rangeman. I’d love it in solar atomic however I think the loud alarm and very legible lcd makes up for it. Worth a punt for £75 - a bit bland looking but I can’t stand most of the Ana-digi g shocks with their stupid short hands and barely legible dials - these are destined to be a classic I reckon

Thanks. Like the 6900 comparison. Not too many features. Top of the list for my next G.

    Heads Up GW-M5610

I was just browsing around the web and spotted that Argos are currently selling the very handy, solar/atomic GW-M5610-1ER for the nice price of £74.99. Pricespy shows they often cost up to £135 at the likes of Jura.

The link for anyone who may be interested: http://www.argos.co.uk/product/2926175

It's this one, image borrowed from Seyia, obviously.
