Thanks. Its been a while since i looked into these types of watch; when i did a dufour simplicity was around 50k CHF.

Still interesting to see how the price rises. I would have thought the majority of costs are for the work itself and the materials arent going to vary hugely. Obviously here theres another artisan involved for the dials but etrapolating from what a good maki-e pen costs to a dial still comes up a long way from 200k usd

Wow! I stand corrected. I guess in the end it doesn't matter to me if it's 70k or 50k. Both are unattainable.
