Was hoping it would be a Seafire, but things didn't got to plan! Probably be the 82 or Speedbird 3 depending on my mood :)

Probably the Dornblueth - though If I have to keep shoving my hands in and out the oven a lot - probably a seiko

I was hoping it would be this...

...but it's now looking unlikely to be here in time.

So will probably go with this one...

I was going to post this thread tomorrow - Clearly someone jumped the gun

I'm going to have a think - First thought was my Cosmonaute, but maybe I'll save that for New Year's Eve...

Maybe my Steinhart Apollon, just for a change?

It will depend on what the other half gets me as a present!

Was thinking the coke GMT is pretty Christmassy coloured, but there is a real possibility that I'll be called on to assist in some cookery so am thinking the Speedy will be a better bet for timing stuff.

Indeed, roast the potatoes for EXACTLY 13 seconds or things could go HORRIBLY wrong!

My Explorer 114270. Or possibly my Seiko as I'll be doing the cooking.

It'll be my 16600 because I'm away for Christmas and it's the only watch I have with me.

As I'm unlikely to be getting a watch for Christmas, I suspect mine will be this.

Indeed, but it would, at least, be Christmas Eve not just another day in December

I think its going to be my fav watch.

Given the internal temperature of a Kelly Bronze needs to reach 65oC, I think I may have to go with something quartz. Wouldn't want high humidity, and high temperatures playing havoc with my delicate mechanical. Just think about all those hot cooking juices - let alone all that washing up water. Eurgh. Next thing, you'll have me wearing it in a sauna.

  37. #37
I'm not that organised for Christmas - so, maybe a 14060 non-date Sub.
It's just a matter of time...
