The Tsunami; photos then and now

It is stuff like this that shows our remarkable resilience as a species, and gives me great faith that ultimately we will overcome the challenges that lie ahead. Humanity has a great future.

Those images are a good reminder of how nature can recover and how quickly she does, scary to think that was 10 years ago though.

Hard to believe it was 10 years ago....I was travelling in the East at the time, thankfully well away from the tsunami, but it feels like yesterday.

Me too, but we were on koh lanta and phi phi a few days before it happened... Luckily we had gone over to the other side to koh phagn nang for the full moon party... We stayed in Thailand for about a month after it had happened hen left to go to Laos.

I remember the aftermath in Bangkok, it was awful, koh San road was packed full of posters of missing tourists..

Still also can't believe its ten yeas ago! I can kind of remember my 20th birthday we celebrated whilst out there!
