    AD discounts after Xmas (Rolex)

    Hi,

Traditionally do AD's offer discounts after Xmas. Also for Rokex would that be across all ranges or specific models.

    Thanks in advance

When should you start looking Boxing Day or New Years?

Most Rolex AD's do not officially discount their watches. In fact it was usually a term in their agreement that the watches would not form part of any annual sales.

You are best off asking the dealers in person, or shopping in Europe.
It's just a matter of time...

The 28th December at 11.39am is the best time to buy.

Aim for 30% off a SS Daytona, and more of the other sports models. Just go in and be direct.

Works for me. Simply explain you're doing them a favour.

Could we start another thread detailing a list of who is going where, in order not to clash at the same AD?

I'm in the North Weat, but would like an adventure, so was thinking Heathrow, T2.

I'm going to St James', there's an outlet there now where they do last years models and slight seconds. Sure there's a rush just after Christmas but it's worth it; picked up a Daytona (missing the hour hand on the chrono, but no-one uses the chrono) at almost half price last year.

Going to make a killing on SC selling all these 1 week old Rolexes.

I'm not a dealer though, I just get them on 0% interest free credit as a cash flow exercise. In fact, I'm one of the good guys,

Its OK guys just been into my local AD. A very helpful sales person has given me details of a Rolex Outlet Shop. Apparently, where a bespoke Rolex order goes wrong...and the discerning customer no longer wants it, Rolex sell them at a discount. I've just bagged me a Rolex Sub with a burgundy bezel (apparently customer ordered red!). Its 60% off list!!

I luv this forum such helpful advice about!

Captain, I take your point. However, I can't release images of the watch or reveal location of Rolex Outlet shop. But I'm sure one of the genius photoshop boys will know something up.

Pragnells in Stratford upon Avon have 30% off their Tag stock, a mate of mine purchased a Monaco RRP £4600 30% off nice saving. The salesman said its to make room for the new Tudor range that they are stocking.

A Rolex outlet shop selling submariners with burgundy bezels and massive discounts won't be a secret for long?

I’m not sure it will be immediately after Christmas but certainly there will be some serious bargains to be had at Jeddah airport (King Abdulaziz International) sometime in the next 3 months.

Not just Rolex, it’ll be all the prestige brands. ;-)

I'm in the market to buy a new SubC no date, I don't hold any hope to see it reduced.

The outlet has one but the brand name was spelt wrong. 'Bolex'. I'll find out on the discount if you're interested.

last sub with a burgundy bezel I saw was in a big cardboard box with 49 others, wrapped in bubblewrap and marked made in vietnam. Had a load of fag ash under the crystal too.
