New arrival - Zenith Ultra Thin 18k rose

Just got this today, it's 1year old but looks literally like new. I can't find a single blemish even with a magnifier.

My first foray into the world of precious metals and I think it makes a really nice compliment to the rest of my collection (white faced Zenith Rainbow, Speedy Pro, 36mm 6424, navitimer, 70's Marina deluxe). I can't seem to take any decent pictures of it but the colour and lustre of the case is phenomenal.

    Happy happy happy!!!!!

Looks well Pete, now put it back in the box, wrap it up, and stick it under the tree until Xmas morning!

Hoofing bit of bling. A bit to good for you possibly? In which case you will have to be a very good boy until Christmas. Good luck.

I think these are a wonderful piece. If I don't find a 16618 soon I'm buying one of these to tide me over.

Pm me where you found it please... was it UK?

    Best,

    James.

There’s something about a thin mechanical that never fails to remind me of the miracle of craftsmanship that goes into the movement - and this Zenith does it in style.

My thoughts also, I'd only add how elegant it is. Not surprised the OP is happy!

I like the grey dial. My dial is black with the slightest sunburst effect.

I prefer the grey too – don't think there were too many black ones listed, and if there was, they were all going to land at a much higher cost than the 3rd one linked.

My only thoughts with the black dial is you done have so many strap options.

The grey would work on brown straps but the black dial needs a black strap.

Still happy with the choice though haha.

I'd say the black isn't as limited as you surmise – the rose gold should enable a suitably toned brown strap to be used.

Maybe a chocolate brown would be nice, but the rubber backed strap on it is lovely so not changing for a while.

Pics on the iPad are rubbish but here's a family portrait with the 'new addition' :)
