I like it! Have fun with the new equipment.
I love taking pics too, but my problem is getting all the equipment out then packing it away again before the kids wreck it all.
So mine are mostly late at night!

That's not a bad attempt! looks great to me :)
I need to get some sort of decent lights one of of these days, rather than trying to diffuse sunlight through a bedsheet!
Looks good Marc. My problem is that I'm loath to spend prospective watch money on even a decent camera never mind lights.
Very impressive photography and the watch looks awesome too...enjoy the photographic kit.
I'd add that a light tent and lights can be had for as cheap as £25 on ebay, though of course you can pay a lot more.
Just had a look and can be gotten a lot cheaper than that.
Just took a punt on the below. 10 euro delivered.

Edit just notice you say lights also.
The first pic is very good.👍👍
A good camera, a light tent and properly positioned lighting go a long way indeed.
Proper positioning and staging can add a lot as is evident from the pics of the two master photographers here-Tony and Jocke.
Nice pic that!
There are a couple of lighting apps for the Ipad that give you a nice, even light; normally white (basically they just give you a blank screen though other effects are possible either as an ambient light or an interesting background) . I was quite pleased with this one and I'm sure I could do better with a bit more effort.
Ney bad Marc. The more you take the better they'll become.
If you bought the lights from Tony - based on his comment - at least you were able to find the light switch ;)
Very Nice!
I will not advice on lighting set up etc, since I am not used to work with tents anymore.
But consider the hands position, set the watch to approx ten past ten to balance the dial and (usually) show of the logo of the manufacturer. It will make the pix look more professional, if that is desired.
Cheers
Thanks. I switched off all ambient light and just had my laptop screen as lighting. Wasn't sure if that was right but thought it was worth a go and it came out ok.
Any chance you you can take a picture of how you set that up with the laptop (making of)
It's really quite basic though, I'd be embarrassed almost lol. Found a white blank web page and full screened it in Chrome. Laid a black scarf on the keyboard and placed the watch on top lol. I angled the watch towards the screen slightly.
Literally took 10 mins, so not too bad return for the time investment.
^ Great! Not sure which ones you went for, but have fun experimenting e.g. Try bouncing the light of the ceilings, rather than straight at the tent to help soften it some more.
The PAM shot is gorge OP and lovely shot.
