    Going rate for GMT 16710?

Hey guys - anyone have an idea for a current valuation of a Rolex GMT Master 16710?
It's a 2001 'P' serial, uk watch with box and papers, tags etc and in very good condition.
    Thanks for any help :)

They seem to be over £4k on Watchfinder these days for which you'd expect one with a recent service.

Thanks guys, so would I be correct in thinking 3.3k for a private sale be reasonable then?
Service history is unknown but the watch keeps time and functions as it should.
    Cheers.

I think so, yes. Even with a service added it still sounds like a pretty good deal :)

I'd say 3.3k for a full set is very reasonable, assuming it's in good condition.

If you guys think that the OPs private price is good check this example out from a Dutch dealer.....http://www.precisionwatches.nl/site/...257DA2003B027F

Works out at £3375 at full asking price but I'm sure a couple of hundred euros could be negotiated off the asking price...

I Asked the same question recently http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...ighlight=16710

I'd say that's a good price based on my own experience - But its subjective isn't it :)

    Good Luck

Have these gone up in value in the last 9 months?

Fresh bump for this thread as I've been reading comments about a recent 10% price increase in the 16710.

So what do we think a 1999 GMT Master II which is almost as new is worth? One owner in 16 years and only been worn a few times. No bracelet stretch and a very full package!

Hmm, I did wonder about that.

Thanks Al. Always new I'd regret that!

This one is priced low £4's but despite great condition feels expensive for the age and I'm presuming lack of service.

I bought one earlier this year. 2004 watch, full set, fresh from Rolex service with associated paperwork.

I paid £4.3k delivered which I thought was over top-end at the time. But I did get to peel the service stickers off and there certainly weren't any others available in the same condition for the same price at that time.

I got a quote for mine from Watchfinder out of curiosity. 1992 full set but due a service - £3,000 to £3,250. They're retailing them at wildly differing prices.

I paid £3,600 earlier this year for a U Series T<25 dialled 16710, full set and all three inserts.

I absolutely love the watchband feels so much more special and elegant over my 14060.

I paid £3750 earlier in the year for a 2005 full set with a fresh indy service. It's a lovely watch.
