Vostok Amphibian with some minor mods

Those are some Vostok i lightly modified with better lume...

The blue dialed Amphibia is one of my alltime favorite...






I decided to improve also de bezel by using a special lume and binder, it took mi some tests before i achieved good glow results for the red lume.




The Vostok movement is a reliable workhorse.





With matching Natostrap.






And this is how it looks at darkness..

This one had some marks on the acrylic crystal, which can be easy removed by using specific paste.

And after polishing the crystal.




The caseback has received a light perlage.




Overhauled movement.




New lume on dial and hands.





And this is how it came out.

One more Vostok...










I replaced the bezel with a better one (sometimes they come with bad machined bezels, which do rattle) and installed a rubber ring for major friction.

You must have a very steady hand and loads of patients do you do other watches as well and do you do other peoples watches, or just your own the scuba dude that you have lumed looks great on both your watches I have a early scuba dude with the straight hands would love that to be lumed up.
