It's pretty painless - comms isn't brilliant from them but if you accept stuff will happen roughly when they say it will the whole process will trip along quite nicely...

Love it. Quite fancy an Ocean One Black Ceramic meself. Check the bracelet while you're sizing it, the screws in my Ocean GMT were all loose. I nearly dropped it once or twice.

As said they can be a bit slow in communications but mine arrived in about two weeks when I ordered in October . I didn't realise that they had changed the design. Glad I picked mine up pre change as not sure about the 1 on the dial as seems unnecessary.

Great build quality though, I have been very pleased with it and wear most days for work.

Sure you will enjoy it when it arrives.

A beautiful watch. Think I prefer the older design as I think the new one has to modern a font for steinhart

I'd really appreciate it if you post a few photos once you get it… I love the OVM and this is an interesting update. I like the fact the lume pip now matches and I imagine the charcoal dial will also play well with the aged lume colour. Seen a few pictures of one on ebay and I am impressed.

There is an extra line of text on the dial which I can take or leave, but they seem to have changed the depth number which got on some peoples nerves.

Here is mine to show the pip colour difference….

It was… and I think it says that on the case back. But to mirror the original specs they printed the original depths on the dial. I didn't mind at all. But it is seemed a bit pointless!

    Thanks for this! Looks great…!

Interesting that the lume pip looks similar to mine… not an identical match to the dial lume colour. It is matched on the Steinhart website, so we have to assume they have colour corrected it to make it look the same in their pictures.

Its a good bracelet – how you finding the fit?

hi, can confirm in my eyes the lume pip (at 12pm) is not the same colour as the dial lume. however the lume colour does seem to be the same when in the dark

i had to take 2 links off each side (i have 7" wrists) and moved the minor adjustment in the buckle part one up, its a lovely fit indeed,

Great watches, but can I suggest you check the tightness of ALL the bracelet screws. First time I wore mine, one backed out!

Good advice I had the same issue. Not fully tightened though it's a pretty good bracelet.

Oh no doubt about that; bracelet is frankly amazing quailty at the price!!

But it's annoying when you're on top of Table Mountain in CT and your watch nearly falls off!

Same issue for me with the GMT. Tightened them all up a couple of times, then resorted to a minute dab of superglue on each one. In spite of the bracelet frailties, it's still my favourite daily wearer, and I really fancy an Ocean 1 Black too.

That's really nice. I wasn't sure about the artificially aged lume but it looks great in your photos.

I'm a big Steinhart fan, I have to say. My feeling is that at their price point they are terrific VFM. I bought a s/h Marine Chronometer II a couple of years ago, liked it a lot and then bought a brand new Ocean 44 (the DSSD tribute) a few months ago. It cost me about £350 delivered and it's a stunning watch with the added novelty of a sapphire bezel. It's also my first experience with their bracelets, and as has been said here, I'm very impressed.
