Breitling Chrono Avenger M1, bought on SC.
Chunky but comfy. Good looking (imo) and features some cool functions.

I have one of these incoming - although I'll struggle to photograph it quite as well when it arrives:

I had my first new watch in ages arrive today - I ordered it before finding out that I’d won the Rolex raffle, so that shows how I absolutely didn’t expect to win! I’ll now have two incomings in a week after many months of sticking with my current set. I’m a very lucky chap, that’s certain.

I’m still excited about this watch though, even though it’s been overshadowed by such good fortune elsewhere. It’s a new Presage model Seiko Cocktail Time. I have the original with its famous ice blue dial and have always really enjoyed it, and when I saw this Rose Gold variant with a stunning deep coffee sunburst dial, I knew I wanted to try it.

It’s genuinely beautiful, like its icy brother. The strap and clasp aren’t bad, but I think I’ll swap them out for something more like the calf Breitling strap I have on the blue. The crown has grown and is now signed. Good for fat fingers. The rotor is super noisy, which makes it feel a little unrefined but who cares with a dial like this.

My first watch in anything other than steel or Ti and I have to say I really love it. It feels warm, elegant and incredibly cool!

I like it. I like the fact it's so different. Bound to be a conversation piece. And it's your watch so only you have to like it anyway

That's fantastic - definitely period, but not over the top. Looks in really great condition; must be a pretty rare thing?

    [QUOTE=Pv406;4698548]Hi All

Just wanted to share a recent incoming. I wasn't too keen on the silicone strap so managed to source the bracelet via eBay which I think really works well. Took a couple of days to get used to the weight but so far am very impressed. I am also considering a Hirsch Robby blue/black strap as another alternative.

Anyway here are a few pics (taken on iphone6), I think the dial is superb!

    Congrats :-)

Liking the new dial layout and sapphire is a nice upgrade (acrylic nice but a bit more fragile I guess). Been thinking of a blue one, but does it wear big? Does straight lugs worries me a bit :-/

Picked this up from the Royal Mail Centre in mount pleasant London, after a couple of weeks in customs. Second incoming in less than a week :)

It’s sitting on the Scurfa Diver One strap as I really don’t like the OEM rubber.

Well, I gave up on the ceramic and have had a WTB for one of these for a while now; I’m just having to let a few go to fund it, sadly. It’s runninng a tad slow and would have been dropped off for a service today were it not for the snow.

    Thank you, btw.

Arrived today from Amazon. Not entirely sure about keeping it. It’s the biggest watch I have by some distance and it feels massive.

Most others in my collection are 42mm and below.

    Thoughts?

Potentially the quickest impulse buy I have ever done for anything ever. No idea why I just bought this, but something sang to me.

Should be here by the weekend.

Ordered this earlier off of Massdrop. Only $950.00, cheaper than a lot of used ones are going for. I wanted a bracelet, but this model didn't offer one on Massdrop, but for the price I couldn't pass it up. Other variants that had a bracelet were $1100.00.

Duplicating my own post, but so happy I finally picked up my BLNR...it was my first ever Rolex AD experience - a thoroughly enjoyable one at that, even though they kept the warranty card...

Let's see what happens tomorrow, but could this be one of the last BLNR's sold by a UK AD?

They had plenty to give out actually...4 coffins, a velvet watch pouch, a cleaning cloth, one of a choice of ties, a bergeon strap changing tool, latest QP and Rolex/Submariner magazine...am particularly fond of the tie and strap tool
