Put my 6309 on a strapcode yesterday, not sure if I'm honest (I was convinced it was the way to go) thoughts anyone?

The rubber (flat vent) is too long but very comfortable and looks good

I know not many are fans of Traser but just picked up this Titanium Commander from eBay which has never been used but 10 years old, came untouched in the original box with paperwork, just needed to pop in a new battery, will do me fine as a beater for just over a £100.

Only received it this morning, but in a windowless room it was a little dimmer than my new Tornado Pro but not too bad.

It's a Pasha Model 1032, so 38mm according to the spec, will know what it looks like on the wrist, when it arrives.

Just pressed BUY for the first time in over 15 months....and it's far from spectacular.

Over the last year I've got used to wearing a 42mm watch most the time, and I've also, finally, got used to wearing one of my watches on a bracelet. I've been wondering how I would feel about combining the two, wearing a 42mm watch on a bracelet, and this seemed to be a nice straightforward way of finding out:

    42mm, 49mm L2L, 12mm thick, 100m WR

My expectation is that while I'll be happy with it in principle, as a beater I'll find it a bit too big. Only one way to find out, and if I don't get on with it, I'm sure SC will take it off my hands without much bother

I have one of these and find it to be the perfect day-to-day beater. A nice size, good looking, inexpensive Seiko that happily deals with the harsh office environment. It has picked up a few scratches, including the hardlex crystal, but it's cheap enough that I'm not too precious about it. I have a replacement sapphire for it, but as yet haven't bothered to fit it.

They are superb watches, but the prices have gone nuts in recent times. 2/3 years ago they were around £7.5k and a bit more for the rail dial, but good examples are into the teens these days.

Yours looks a stunner, great dial, matching hands and perfect insert and crystal. A keeper?

Definitely a keeper and you're right about prices for them.Your guy in Madrid has a beauty too.
I've got a lovely 1675 but this feels so substantial in comparison with it.
Lost my SDc in the trade though but sacrifices need to be made sometimes.

First use of Postimage so watch this go all wrong....

    So watch has arrived....

.....same size as my daily wearer....

    ....rather bigger than my SBCA001....

.....yes that looks pretty much as I hoped....

....now, can I put up with those flaws in the chapter ring.....

.....? Going to sleep on it

Look at how two little bulges encroach on the 5 and the 6.

I thought the same when I first saw it, but then thought they were just reflections of the numbers appearing to make the circle of the chapter ring bulge in, rather than being an actual bulge?

Not a fan on the way it's so close to the 5 6 and 7 though. Definitely bulged?
