    Just picked this Fortis up.

Understand the company has just folded, but always had an eye on their fliegers.

This feels and looks incredibly well built, so very happy with this (impulse) purchase

I fancied a bit of a change for the new year so have ordered this:

    and this:

Both a bit different from my usual style.

They haven't folded as I am led to believe, they are currently being 'restructured' and an ongoing business, as far as I am aware. My B42 Official Cosmonauts is still my most worn watch in my small collection. Yours looks lovely BTW.

Well I hope they survive the restructure, and manage to build the brand as well. This is one of the most solid built watches I've ever owned!

Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda Metrographe just sneaked in before the deadline. Not much talk on the forum about this brand

Lume is pretty funky on this one

Stock picture of the rear as my dodgy iPhone picture doesn’t do it justice. Hermes strap finishing it off nicely.

I picked this Ball Watch Company Fireman Storm Chaser Pro in the sales and it arrived yesterday.

It’s so comfy to wear you forget your wearing it, excuse the quick photo I’ll have to dig out the macro lens for some better pictures

Thanks I am to. They make lovely pieces and yes they are a bit pricey but the quality is outstanding.

What was you saying about the second hand, omen?

A new brand to me until recently when a colleague showed me his Tonda with a white dial and small seconds - stunning watch and the movement looks great. Will be keeping a close eye for a used model to crop up!

Absolutely gorgeous watches, and I was actually drooling over them yesterday is Regent Street WoS!

In fact, a friend of mine owns a couple so I've seen them up close on a number of occasions. Top quality fit and finish and just a little quirkiness to make them even more interesting.

I agree and that’s what got me interested. A little different and made by a maker that could be considered a master, if not grand master given all of the awards Parmigiani wins at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.

Latest additions presents from my partner a bit late, but after the rush of Christmas, I have finally sat down to play with my Christmas watches from my partner. Really glad to have the LV back in the fold, as it is one watch that I loved and regretted selling. Wont be selling this again. First time for a DJ 36 and actually its the one watch I have worn over the most of Christmas a wrist shot from Christmas day.

I have bought my second IWC this time a 3706 chrono

it’s yet to arrive but it’s a beaut,Originally I was after a speed master but I think these maybe more exclusive?

    http://www.woundforlife.com/2014/12/...-iwc-fliegers/

There isn’t a lot about them on the web that I can find, any information would be appreciated.

If my other half gave me this many watches as pressies I’d leave her because surely she’s cheating on me😳😳😂

The beauty of this one is that it’s 40mm, Alan.

I tried desperately to get hold of one on release, Mike, and even tried to buy the prototype that the boutique were given as a demonstrator. It’s a gorgeous thing.

A couple of quick and dirty photos of my new Jean Richard Terrascope. At 44mm quite big on my wrist, but pretty comfortable. It's quite difficult to show the lightly brushed and polished surfaces off properly.
