It weighs 170g so not too bad. There is some titanium in case which helps offset some of the weight of the tantalum.

Not too heavy. Nice variation, it looks totally different than usual Hublots..

Yes I'll keep it on bracelet for now as it's pretty lush. The Hirsch it came with is sadly a bit too long for me

Thanks Paul. Really Smitten with this one. Not usually my type of watch but I keep looking at it but not to tell the time......

Now that’s not something you see every day! I think it’s really, really cool. Does it feel strange to have something so big with so much presence weigh so little?

It is 44mm but wears smaller but definitely has wrist presence (but the colour helps keep it under the radar). I have normally gone for titanium or aluminium watches so I do notice the weight but having it on my wrist all night tonight it is surprisingly comfortable.

Been after a Pelagos LHD for a while and finally found one in Heathrow last Saturday. Didn't get it out of the box all week in Mexico, put it on this morning and I'm loving it. Weird thing is that after years of wanting a LHD watch (I wear on the right) I found actually adjusting it with my left hand really difficult!

Best of the Pelagos I think but also the Mortlach 21 year is delicious, good choice!

    I prefer the black face.
Looks great and perfect size IMO.
I think the ceramic bezel really makes the new Daytona.

Got back from holiday to these 2 new arrivals

Love them both but the GS is just otherworldly. It's just the best dial execution I've ever seen. Photo looks rubbish and I've never seen it caught in a photo how it looks like in real life. It's incredible

  19. #3869
I've liked these for years and in actual fact promised myself that it would be my first "decent " watch when I finally got the money together. Well, I got side-tracked and other stuff got bought instead, but I've still always had a soft spot for them.

I was in one of the London boutiques a few weeks back and the sales guy told me they were being discontinued, although they are still listed in the catalogue for this year. They had a handful left in stock, so I could have one if I wanted. I went away and had a think about it, and thought sod it, you're only here once. Went and picked it up yesterday, very pleased with it.

    Cheers,

    Plug

Tasty. I bought one when they first came out, it's still a great looking watch and really shines in the sun, at home with a shirt or T-shirt. Good choice!

To be fair when I ordered it they asked which colour and I said any but with a preference for white. Hopefully though buying black means I skip a few places in the queue for a white one ;)

9 months is good going though, better than 7 to 10 years. Nice to see someone get one.

That snowflake is a belter, I regret not picking one up in Japan. There was a great pic of one on a blue leather strap today tha5 captured the dial but can’t find it now.

I am one of the lucky ones to have a dealer local to me and had one in the window recently.

I know the one you mean on the blue leather strap! Looks fantastic. I'm thinking of the same look for my GS.

That's lovely too! Interesting that the GMT wording is in a different font from mine. I wonder of the hand is blued to the same shade as well?

I was keen on the more vintage looking case and leather strap as I wanted more of a contrast to NY daily smart wear GS, but I still love that style.

Arrived yesterday via a WTB and am extremely happy. Came with the original papers so need to find the rest of the accessories to complete the set.

To quote a line from either Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones, ‘and so it begins....’ My first automatic.
I’ve been humming and hawing over various Damasko/Sinn models and finally got my hands on a pre owned dc56.
Over the moon with it, just wondering what the chances of stumbling over a Damasko bracelet to pair it with are??

I nearly went for the one with the leather strap. As you say, a more traditional/vintage case.
    It was a tough decision.

Great watch and the blue looks great.
Tudor have not been on my radar until I saw this and looked into it, think they are great build and compared to Rolex good value (if that makes sense 🤔)

Eddies best to date. What a beautiful homage to the original B-uhr in case, crown, dial and movement. Winding the movement is so smooth and comforting. Stunning!

Tudor Black Bay that I picked up this morning. I also never got around to putting up the DC56 when I purchased that a few months ago which sits alongside my DC57.

I think it's their being just slightly rectangular and having those lovely beveled edges.

    It's a lovely piece.

I am very taken with my new toy, the 41mm Datejust with the Jubilee bracelet. To my eyes it is a handsome beast.
And, because we like our cat, and for no other reason...
Not a watch in sight. Entirely gratuitous.

I really like that GO. The bezel has a hint of Blancpain FF about it.
