    Yay, a fellow owner!!!

I initially purchased mine on the Ti bracelet. But couldn't get a good fit and was not sure of the look. Went into the IWC boutique and they convinced me I needed the strap that this watch was also sold on. Transformed the watch and look totally. Love mine now, a great daily!

I've been wearing it to the exclusion of everything else since I got it, and it really wears well. It doesn't get in the way or catch things, and although I've been out and about with it it's still unmarked, though I don't think a few scuffs would hurt the look. It does feel as though it would be the only thing left after a thermo-nuclear blast!

These came in to stock today at the store on Bond St so I thought I would go for a look.

what a brilliant object. I am smitten and can't believe what a nice object this is.

be aware, these are not for the faint of wrist, the lugs are massive and come very close to the edge of my big fat arms.

the installed watch faces are excellent if you like the montblanc styles (which I do) and the rubber zulu strap is absolutely class.

I'm still working through all of the gubbins it can do but I like it very much so far.

I don't suppose they offer the same dial option with Minerva on it ?
I absolutely intend to go and try one of these on but I know it's not going to work.

Having had a WTB for a Smiths Radio Room Watch (PRS 28) for some time now without success, I came across this Astral Radio Room Clock (Astral being a trading Name of Smiths). It has a Quartz movement and is supposedly 30+ years old, but is in superb condition. The BP FF that arrived two weeks ago is below. I did say that I would run with just one watch, so buying a clock is okay.

    Just got a prs-3 in a trade...

Great watch! Easy to read, great bracelet and comfortable. Only thing I would change would be a domed crystal instead of the flat. Dial is plain (crispy and nice) and think it would make it better. But not sure so many would agree ;-)

This is my third TF watch after Prs-18 and prs-50. All quality pieces for the money, should have kept some:-)

there must be a way to make that happen, it uses normal android software so the watch can use any android wear apps.

24 hours on, I'm really enjoying it

That looks good on you Raj, you just about get away with the size. Are they any easier to obtain in the US?

    Not really.
We usually get them a little later than Europe.
This was the first one at the AD.
I don't think the premiums are going to remain high.
Nonetheless, for me this is as close to watch perfection as it can get.
Rolex quality just keeps getting better. The bezel action is second to none.

The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

Not sure artwork counts to incoming, but here's a piece I commissioned. Weighed down by my Speedy Tintin before it gets sent off for framing. It's a re-work of Herge's imaginary scene where Tintin etc. meet up with Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong.

Its an M serial UK sold watch, 2008 so has the rehaut and is very near mint, never serviced and soon to be my daily wearer. No wrist shot as I need to get two links added to the bracelet first.

    I love this watch.
    Nice choice.

    That is fantastic!
I was an avid tintin reader as a kid. Had the complete collection of books and they got stolen in a house move along with my star wars collection. I keep meaning to buy all of the books again. Thanks for the prompt.

I found a bit of gold at last today - much to my surprise, it was a YG TT which was well within my anticipated budget. I need to keep my tan topped up to wear it, but it leaves me with the impression of being a feelgood, sunny day piece, which is what I was looking for.
A nice present prior to my 30th wedding anniversary which is tomorrow. There was also the added bonus that the AD jumped me up the list for the next SD43 in store, from 5th to 1st!

^Nice one. As said elsewhere, not sure why these TT Daytonas aren't more popular.

Much nicer than the TT Subs and GMTs which tend towards trashy rather than classy IMO.

Thanks mate. I am chuffed with it to be honest, being two firsts - PM / TT and a Daytona. Not sure why it took so long really.

Not a new watch but a new Strapcode Super Oyster for the daily-wearer.

Not just a lovely bit of metal but removing three links gave me a Cinderella-standard fit without messing with micro-adjusters. Result!

Just landed. Probably one of the nicest Definitely the nicest 'Olympic' limited edition I've seen from Omega.
Tried one on just over 2 weeks ago at the Glasgow Boutique and was smitten. Then immediately investigated snagging this one from SC.

Just a pity my IWC 3777 had to make way to get this... otherwise I think I'd have arrived at my perfect 3 (along with my ExpII)

I love the Racing dial version, but thought it would be limited to casual wear. The standard black dial version I found a bit cold.
This Rio edition just has enough about it to lift the dial, with the gold/silver/bronze subdial rings, and looks a very classy piece in the metal.

That looks superb, loving the lumed tachymeter. How does it wear? I always thought the Mk2 looked slightly thick and unusual with the pushers low on the side of the case.

It is tall... bit so far I'm not finding it top heavy. I think the crystal being flat/flush probably helps minimize the thickness issue to an extent.
Width & lug-lug are a perfect fit for my wrist (small wrist, but flat).
