Been gazing at this '68 Omega for months in the window of a jeweller's near my work. Popped in at lunch - saw it has full B&P including original receipt of sale (£55!), chronometer cert, all instructions, service card, other booklets and double box. Walked out with it and a smile.

Very nice and if this came from Kippax the photos do little justice for that beautiful dial. Congratulations.

Part traded recently for my Tudor BB Red.

I've always fancied some manner of F1 and I have to say I'm really impressed. Having heard some mixed reports I'm happy to report that the build feels really robust, the quartz tick hits the batons exactly, the lume is radioactive and dial colour has real depth.

I was undecided about which model to go for but I finally picked this up last night and I'm very happy.

My first brand new purchase and my second watch of a newly started collection.

Finally bought a reissue Heuer Monacco Calibre 11 Steve McQueen, and I'm loving it. Probably not everybody's cup of tea but it's a very classy piece, and I have a soft spot for chronographs and this is different from the others. The shade of blue is really nice being very flat and matt. It's very comfortable on the wrist and the left hand crown balances the case well. I like the fact that it is branded Heuer rather than Tag Heuer and if you look at pictures of the 1969 original the dial is a very close match even the horizontal indexes which I didn't like initially but are part of the iconic design so I'm okay with it.
I realise the modular movement is not high horology, but it is such a cool watch, and different to anything else I have.

That Steinhart looks great. I've been lusting after the Black Bay Bronze but I'm pretty sure the 41mm case size would look ridiculous on my small wrist.

Not sure I could pull it off but for the money that Steinhart looks

    Newly arrived today...

I love the smaller size, on the wrist it is just perfect in every dimension for me. And so light! Need to get it cleaned a little and try the bracelet.

    Happy Sunday!

Date between 4-5 = 38mm? I have been yearning for a tricolour for a long time. Stunning watch! It has quite the presence on the wrist.

    Congratulations.

Congratulations. I was so close to getting one a few months ago. The 38mm is perfect. I had it on the wrist in the shop but went away for a think and then got distracted by other things later in the week. I did come away with something really nice but the EP most definitely ranks as one that got away.

It must be 5 years since I first saw one of these. It got me interested in the Nautilus and I've tried three other versions but they haven't stuck. Hoping this will be the one. Quick iPhone photo...

I love these and will definitely be my next pick up. Having a hard time deciding whether this is nicer or the grey face one

This arrived today! I hadn't realised how fat the fonts were on the insert until I took the photograph. I think watches from this era are my sweet spot. Not blingy like the ceramics, but don't need babied like vintage sometimes do.

No, no mention of the stickers, I asked if I could keep the coffin and they said no problem. I wanted it left packaged as I have no will power and wast to save it for my Birthday in June.
The last Rolex I bought was a similar too.

    Hi all

    My latest incomings are these..

    Invicta auto sub,,

    Lorus Chrono

Sorna Jacky Ickx easy rider bullhead chrono, I bought this for £8 at a bootsale, It came boxed and fired up as soon as I touched the brown!! I didn't haggle!!

I got this in a trade a few weeks ago, Shall have to get the buffing maching out to polish it some!

Most recent is this Seiko Superior, It's a lovely 23j auto that I traded my Kronos style diver for

These and quite a few more kick started my interest in watches again!!

Always liked that Nomos! I keep thinking of getting a proper worldtimer.

  48. #2598
Yet another Seiko just in. I've been chasing this gorgeous blue dial SARB045 for about 4 years now. This one is in excellent shape apart from the little scratch on the crystal which I will get replaced at some point. Otherwise very very pleased to have one of these. It was photo's of one of these and a 39mm blue Omega AT2500 on brown straps a few years ago that sparked an obsession with sunburst blue dial watches and I've been chasing both of those ever since.

Went on a waiting list in Barcelona in August and got a call Friday whilst luckily in Spain on holiday. 800 mile round trip on Tuesday to pick it up.

Maybe you're more into the "idea" of owning a patek rather than actually owning one.
