Love this, simple and classic. I have a GMT version with the 9F; great piece of kit and amazing value given the quality. Congrats.

Picked up this bad boy at the airport this morning. Couldn't be happier (she).

I regret selling the one I owned. The only negative which may bother some is the lack of a screw down crown and micro adjustment in clasp.

I must admit I've been lucky in that my fit is perfect. A push / pull crown means one less thing (screw thread wear) to worry about. Doesn't bother me one bit.

I got the perfect fit as well with the half links, I would have liked a screw down crown though.

The definitely make a decent purchase preowned for around £1000-1200.

Two very difficult incomings on the same day! Special delivery saw the Sinn come at around 11 this morning and then off to the Christopher Ward showroom at 12 to pick up a very bronze Dune C65.

    Big Crown Pointer
Has a choo-choo train on the caseback - some ltd edition that I can't spell.

I like that the lume isn't discoloured like on some of the other pointer models.
The strap is nice, cervo volante deerskin with quick release tabs. Thick and supple.

Really nice. One of those watches where you always wonder why you don’t see more on the forum.

Finally made it in to London on a day when they had models in stock (red, yellow, pale blue, pink) Wasn't going to pay over the odds, and glad I didn't. I am however pleasantly surprised, as its a cool thing, and on the Erika's perfect for a summers day.

I was indeed, although I did agree with the seller to pay a fair price for the Sinn that was more than advertised.

    Mini-grail for me today:

Glashutte Senator Cosmopolite in white gold. Noticeably heavy, but still wears very comfortably on my not especially large wrist.

Lovely. I have one Glashutte and will be looking to add another one to celebrate a significant event in a few months time.

Picked this up at Heathrow on the way out to Bangkok, WOS in Terminal 4. They also had the Pelagos 39 available to buy.

No discount but they checked in some Bang and Olufsen headphones worth £379

I’m flying to New York on Sunday, T5…will keep an eye out as that a great pick up. Do you get VAT off that, or is it full U.K. RRP?

Full UK RRP sadly as there are no longer VAT free watches at Heathrow. They will discount watches that aren't Rolex or Tudor though.

It's a fab watch in a way I totally wasn't expecting and I'll do a write up later. Honestly it's brilliant and the 1st modern mechanical watch that in some ways does a better job than the digital equivalents.

Coming up to 2am here so need some sleep but I'll post some thoughts as to why this is such a good watch and also why you could have this and the standard Pelagos in the collection - I don't thing it is necessarily an either/or decision
