Got a link to a photo of the watch in question? - would be helpful in such a post!

Only Marmite if other people love it.

If it's this one I'm not keen:

I like it without the date wheel, it is nicer looking than many of their watches.

Thank f**k at least its not another DSSD,

  33. #33
    I don't like it.
Especially with the date I think the 31/1 is clumsy.
But lots of other people seem to like it and fair play to them.

It's a beautiful watch that I wouldn't mind owning. I don't think people outside this forum would recognize it as a Rolex.
Perhaps I don't recognize it either since I can't recall seeing any in the wild.

I'm not so keen on these but you'd find it hard not to see the quality of them.

    Love marmite BTW!!

Not controversial, just the term detest is a bit yawn inspiring, when referring to a highly successful brand on a watch forum.

I can't get over that date indicator looking like a cheapo Chinese ebay watch. The one without date is stunning.

    Bovril for me.

Very intellectual looking watches and interesting that Rolex kept the date at three o'clock. I would have preferred it if the date circle was a slightly different shade to the rest of the dial. And I don't think the other numbers are necessary. Keeping the batons in one piece would have been cleaner.

I think as a dress watch it looks quite special. I do like most things Rolex though, so slightly biased.

It doesn't do it for me, I prefer the non date version, however it does look like the kind of watch that will look stunning in the flesh and the pictures above do not do justice to the end result.
