Having had the pleasure of meeting Ellie earlier this week, I can indeed confirm she certainly is one of the good ones!

Look after her mate, they certainly don't come along that often.

Oh, and congratulations on the watch........

The brave and the bold, eh mate. You're certainly a fully signed up member.

This watch features the PR indicator only on the movement, whereas the the one I have features it on the front. Each model therefore only has one PR indicator.

    Thank you for your contribution.
You're right (of course - not least since you know your own watch). This is the correct movement:

Thanks Gary... really nice of you to say :-)

I'm not usually one to buy on impulse in such a manor, but you only live once, and I'd wanted one of these for agggess. The fact I'm happy as Larry thankfully proves it can be good to be impulsive sometimes; I think we've both proved that this week

That's the one :-) Very similar of course so very easy to get mixed up. I've never had an 8 day movement before but it;ll be ideal as I'll wear this infrequently, mostly at the weekend etc.

Did you flip this for the Panerai?

No not at all. I sold it because I wasn't wearing it much, aiming to possibly never again down the expensive route. Then the 275 popped up for sale a day or so later and I couldn't believe it. So no, not an intentional swap at all.

However, I'm happy to deviate from tradition when I get the features I want/need, and have found reading the time on this new watch as easy as the 000. You can hide the GMT hand behind the main hour hand, plus the hands really do stand out much better in reality compared to photos.

I'm really very pleased with the watch so far, can you tell?!
It's a gorgeous piece of horology Wayne, enjoy, and let's see those pictures already

Why? Because I'm expressing an opinion?

I can, if you wish, explain why the watch is a nightmare.

Uninspiring to my eyes, there is nothing that makes me think I would like to wear it.
