    Dial Help Please...

    Hi chaps,
I bought this dial ages ago and as I've just picked up a cheap SKX031, I thought I'd have a bash at a dial / hand swap.

Problem is, I've forgotten if this was for a crown at 3 or 4?
I know you can snip the dial feet and use dial dots but I want to do it all in one hit so need to know weather I'm going to need to buy some.
Can anybody tell from this photo? (the date cutout is at 3 btw)

    Thanks in advance
    Dave

    Thanks.
Although, I can't see how my dial is configured for either 3 or 4 crown?
Oh well, I guess the side cutter's are coming out!

I would say from the pic Its a 4 date
I fitted this dial to a quartz movement- I used clear silicon to attach the dial to the movement ring - allows for some slight adjustment- it's been fine

I may give that a try.

I did toy with dial dots but I did not have much space on the movement 'face'
Just a few small dots all around the movement holder- worst case scenario you can remove the holder and rub the silicon off.
This wa my 1st attempt at this and was very pleased
Not everyone's way to do things but it was the look I wanted

That dial is for a 4 o'clock crown. But before you remove anything try it on your movement ...

Dial dots etc, you can use Duck double sided tape. It's readily available, cheap, easy to cut to shape, very thin and sticks like "brown stuff" to a blanket !

I've got a few hellish busy weeks approaching but when it all settles down, I'll give it a go!
