Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".

I love that, the only problem I can foresee is that I would be constantly caning the battery by playing around with the setting function.
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

At risk of asking a stupid question (and I promise I have searched for the answer!!), so apologies in advance... but when will this be available

(really sorry if that's been asked 1000 times already)

That's a great watch - and an interesting movement - well done

Oh my days...want! Looks great Eddie. As per many posters recently, I can barely keep up with the pace of releases.

Why does the minute hand jump at 1:17 in the video?
(roughly when the second hand hits 7.5 seconds)

My assumption was that maybe the minute hand jumps in increments through 0-60 seconds rather than moving steadily?
but given it did not jump again, even though the video runs to the second hand reaching 21 seconds, that doesn't seem an explanation either.

I have a Seiko with dancing hands, its pretty, elegant, and beautiful to watch the hands all move randomly when prompted by the dancing hands mode.

From the datasheet at http://www.isaswiss.com/public/ftp/m.../9500-1010.pdf :

"Hour, minute (one motor step every 20 seconds).
Central hand, 4 steps per second."

So you'd have seen another jump at ~27 seconds. Very similar to an Aerospace in that respect (also three jumps / minute I believe).

I have to say that's pretty nifty. Citizen's worldtimer movements have a similar setting method.
