STS every time for me. Always get great advice, support and customer service from them. Quality workmanship too.
Currently writing this thread from norway.
Recently bought a 1964 Connie and noticed that it loses time after 7 hours from winding.
I am a aware that omega is restricting parts, and am reluctant to send it to omega for servicing as I have seen the price is fairly steep.
I have come across the British horilogical institute, and noticed some prominent watch repairers.
Do you have any tips on what I need to consider to find a reliable service?
Kind regards
Oliver

I could sort this out, but posting it back and forth from Norway isn`t ideal.
I suggest you find a local repairer. These watches are not difficult to work on, the only problem is the high cost of parts.
This is likely to need either a new reverser (£70) or a new spring barrel (£60) or possibly it needs both.
Omega parts are still available and will remain so until the end of 2015.
