    Let the pictures do the talking

    Once again a tired old watch needed fixing.
    This one is a one owner since new, never serviced and worn as Mr Seiko intended

    I sent it to Cannop for a good seeing to




    Apart from the obvious, it had a couple of issues

    Great job there!

    Do you have a list of what he was able to salvage, and what had to be replaced, out of interest?

    I'm guessing the crystal and bezel insert had to go, but looks like the dial and hands are probably okay under all that…?

    Just new insert and crystal

    Still got the originals

    Execellent job, she came out great! My specimen looked even more tired than yours before its trip to the spa.
    IMHO it is testament to the quality of these watches that they can endure decades of hard use and still be brought back.
    Did you have a sapphire or hardlex installed?

    That has a beautifully steady movement after the service Vinny, with little positional variation and great amplitude it was a joy to work on. Congrats!
