I had a good evening. Even managed at one pint to have a non-watch related conversation! Some lovely watches and collections on display and everybody very friendly.

Forum name badges though should be compulsory! Cant remember half of the peoples names

Thanks again for organising and for everybody being so welcoming to newbies so I didn't have to do this

Think there was a couple of photos taken too...

Hmmm... maybe that's why it was non-watch related?

I had an excellent evening, it's always great to meet new faces - many thanks to James and Simon for getting it organised. Incidentally my seafood risotto was delicious.

Thanks to James and Simon for organising this event! I missed the last few gatherings, so it was nice to finally meet fellow watch nerds. A couple of must-buy watches are now added to my list....

I didn't take any photos myself but if anyone has any, please share them!

Since you all asked so nicely, here are some photos! It was a really good evening wasn't it? We should do it again, I'm thinking April or May?

Damn, I was in London yesterday unexpectedly, but decided to rush home instead of stopping by.

    My loss I think.

I'll make an effort to come to the next one.

    No mention of MX5s yet???

It was a great night, thanks again to Simon and Jason for organising.

(And apologies for my behaviour in that last photo...)

Standout watches for me were PhiloStan's stunning Lange and Lowndes' mythical Voutalainen (sp?). Legendary.

I forgot to ask you, where did you get that watch holder and is it for eight watches? I think a couple of those would work a bit better than what I have in the safety deposit box!

Sorry I missed this - but the moment I realised it was to take place on an important anniversary I knew I was out (important to keep the wife 'on side' in case of any rash watch purchases in the new year!) But well up for a spring gtg!

    Hi

As I'm clearly a horrible dealer using the forum to line my pockets I was given this free by Rolex in return for buying 25 Subs to flog on SC ;)

Actually, bought it from Amazon for £14.95, it's called '8 Watch Bracelet Bangle Box Display Storage Case JWB50B'

    Cheers

    Thank you, dealer man

I've just ordered one, at £14.95 all in, I suspect I'll buy a couple more.

Is that Jose Marinino in pic 5 at the back on his phone and his hand over is face disguising himself. Only joking seems like everyone had a great time, some nice watches also

And another thank you here, Simon and Jason. Thoroughly enjoyable...a good venue, serving well-kept beers, good company and conversation, plus some memorable watches.

Sorry to miss it - especially irritating being just down the road stuck in a meeting until the early hours - definitely in favour of a spring re-run.

Many thanks to Simon and Jason for organising a great evening. It was good to put some faces to User names and discover some unexpected areas of common interest other than watches.

Despite living on London I never contributed to this thread because I knew that on the day in question I was going to be working in the Netherlands.

I'm now sitting in Schipol Airport waiting for my plane, reading this thread and wishing I'd been around. Looks like it was a fun night. I lack the serious facial hair exhibited by a couple of you but apart from that I hope I'd have fitted in!

If you're organising a Spring GTG and I'm around them I'd certainly be up for it...

    Memory loss help.

If you're the chap on the left in the 1st picture with the beard and glasses could you PM me please. If you need another clue you're also the handsome chap who has his thumb up in the 3rd picture, again with beard and glasses!

    Cheers

He's MadeOfCheese if I remember correctly. In the third picture it's cheese and pickle as unlikely as it sounds.

Wasn't that skull and roses t-shirt on SC some months ago?

The one on SC was short sleeved, mine, as you may notice is long sleeved.
