If you want to find out about coffee, milk and even tea based drinks these folks do a great set of videos (I learnt a lot):
    https://www.seattlecoffeegear.com/le...sk-the-experts

Some of the brands and products are US only but the content is focussed on education with entertainment a close second and infomercial a distant third.

Does it need to be electric? I have used for the last 10 years a "Frabosk Cappuccino Creamer" bought on Amazon.

Works really well - with warm or cold milk, with both semi-skimmed or whole milk. It works by "pumping" the milk through thin holes, and four-five pumps are enough froth for two cappuccinos. Never fails.

After finished, all goes happily into the dishwasher.

Have had a Hostess HM250MA for over a year. Haven't used it that much but it's been excellent when I have. Does cold froth as well as hot so great for kids milkshakes.

Look at Aeroccino, it's in the nespresso range of coffee stuff, I have two and they are great. Hot and cold and come with two types of 'whisk'.

I've got one of the little buzzy ones from IKEA - works just fine and cost about the price of a twix.

+1 to one of those. Very good for what it does. We bought a Nespresso machine with an integrated frother but it was hopeless. Aeroccino much, much better & easier to clean/keep clean! Saying that, I'm starting to look around for a milk steamer so I can make the perfect flat white.

After this, it can only be a matter of time before someone asks for recommendations for a breast pump.

+1 for the Aeroccino. Ours is in daily use and has been going strong for years.

Stick to hand pumped Davey Boy nothing else stretches milk better IMO.

How about a Norfolk/Suffolk GTG around my gaff to have a group test. Could even fire the Pizza oven up

And use Cravendale milk - very smooth and reliable former.

Another vote for the Aeroccino here. Just pour milk, press button and hot frothy milk is ready in 25-30 secs or so. Washes easily with a quick rinse. Worth the money I'd say.

I recently purchased one of these and they're great. After years of using a traditional machine it's so easy.

I've got one, so cheap that if you think it's crap it can be thrown away. Does a decent enough job IMHO.

Has anybody actually noticed just how old this thread is by the way.
If he ain't got one by now, he doesn't want one (at least not at fifty nicker as he quoted in 2014) anyway.
