I would go for a big designer suitcase.
... buy a new bin?
There are far too many members either asking what to do with rubbish, or actually listing it for sale, so seeking the collective opinion on the best place to buy a bin, which will prove advantageous to many, it seems.
Oh, as I'm wary of leaving the house, could all recommendations be on-line, or accompany with your answer a telephone number, then we can arrange a face to face (in a bank, of course).
To give all a fair chance, I'd just like to warn you, if I don't get the answer I'm looking for within an hour, I will take my question to eBay.

Last time we had this dilemma we had to go to Kaliningrad
Without doubt, I'd go vintage!
I wheelie don't think this thread is appropriate.
Forget the phone number, ask for their postcode.
Then send a postcode programmed missile to that address.
What a rubbish thread, I've never read so much trash !

Ralph Waldo Emerson: We ask for long life, but 'tis deep life, or noble moments that signify. Let the measure of time be spiritual, not mechanical.
Let's not waste any more time recycling the old jokes...
I googled "Waste Management" and got some information that really cannot be considered on this particular thread.
I think if you ring the council they may have a few spare. Useful for getting rid of old tat.

Japanese fellow moves into an English town. The bin man knows about this (lives on the same street) and so, come bin day (when there's no bin outside the Japanese gentleman's house) knocks on the door in a neighbourly fashion.
"Hi" he says "Where's your bin?"
"Pardon?"
"Your bin, where's your bin?"
"I've been in the shower" replies the chappie.
"No, your bin, where's your bin?"
"I've been in the bathroom!"
Slightly raised voice now.
"WHERE'S YOUR WHEELIE BIN?"
"Oh" (shamefaced look and downturned eyes) "I've really been having a wank"
Sorry!
You might be right. I believe that it's one of the early Urofa flieger bins; they were taken by the Soviets after the war. If you can't get one of the originals then the next best step is to search out from the version the Russians made with the machinery they stripped from the factory - they are usually marked 1st Moscow Bin Factory on the bottom. Beware franken bins from the Ukraine!
Bin there,done that. :)
Depends..
Automatic (foot pedal) or manual lid?
They don't come any better http://www.simplehuman.com/trash
