OK; so week 3 of recuperation since my heart attack & thankfully the day 1 feeling of watches being silly expensive trinkets has passed !! I did for a moment think the money in my collection (especially the recently acquired 5712) might be more usefully deployed in the bank for the family should things have gone wrong !
The collection now looks like this:-
Been wearing the Zenith and Speedy Mark II most of the time – reason is I have to time my brisk daily walks as part of the recuperation process and the chrono functions are perfect for this. Also have time to make proper breakfast so timing the eggs to perfection is another bonus.
