Another vote for the Dreadnought (I like a GMT when travelling).
Leave the expensive watches at home.... So no Rolex.

That would be the Citizen diver cos I was given that, and it's a true beater no doubt.

I was thinking the 1016 for a cafe/bar holiday as the worst it will suffer will be a lot of sun.

none of those will remotely do unless you are going on a package holiday purchased with tokens from the Sun, ten quid and the wrapper of three Greggs pasties.

You urgently need a new watch: I suggest a platinum Nautilus.

Staying @ The Intercontinental Carlton in Cannes for a week so the Citizen may just not cut it tbh.

Your choice may be something to look at whilst out their.

About to go for holiday tomorrow and it's going to be the G-Shock GW-M5610
Would've gone for my cheap Seiko 5 if it wasn't a beach holiday

I'd have a go at that Alpina diver on sc at the moment for a holiday/beater....(no connection, incidentally)
had a few Alpina, and they've all been excellent- especially at the prices.
