    Best spring bars for PRS-82

Just bent one changing the strap so need to get some new ones.

Had a look at cousins but don't know what diameter to order can any one help please?

Never really considered different diameter - personally I'd just be getting 20mm bars and avoiding shoulderless ones though with drilled lugs that's not especially important...

I didn't realise they did different diameters until looked earlier. I thought type in 20mm and it would be fine but the options confused me (not difficult) will wait and see if anyone else provides words of wisdom before I order some tomorrow.

    1.8mm - 2mm will be fine.

Could you not just of measured the one you had, either vernier or rule, it's not rocket science dude.

Valid suggestion, but seems excessive to invest in a vernier just to measure a spring bar and not sure a ruler is that accurate.

Give it a while longer playing with watches, you WILL have one in the cupboard, they are invaluable.

My digital one was about a tender off the bay.

20mm x 1.8-2mm x an appropriate thickness for the pin to go in the hole. If I remember correct it's 0.8mm. Sometimes every dimension seems as though it is correct but the pin is too fat for the hole.

I just fitted a pair of 20 x 2,0mm with pin diameter = 1mm and pin length = 2,8mm. This must be the perfect match for the PRS-82. The pin extends almost to the end of lugs and there is no "play/jitter" (what is the correct word in this context) between the pin and the hole. Got the bars from ebay seller "twente(o)"
