I don't have a 6105 but I do have an all-original 6309-7049 and you can't go wrong with two of Eddie's finest natos; green and the new dark grey.

I think the 6105 is best on a nice flexible Seiko rubber (sorry, don’t have an individual 6105 shot to hand):

I’ve tried a NATO, but the trouble is that it lifts the watch off your wrist and you lose the nice feel you get from that unique case shape against the wrist. One alternative that works well is a 2-piece nylon:

Looks good but I'd recommend trying the flat vent versions if you have't already - gives more of a vintage vibe IMO.

It’s been a while since I bought any Seiko straps, but I think I had trouble finding one that I liked for 19mm lugs aside from the one that is on the watch above.

That brings to mind another option for the OP - a 20mm Marine Master strap DE39AZ looks really good on a 6105 - see bottom of page:

    http://www.watch-tanaka.com/seiko/band/

(The one on my 6105 is DB72BP, 19mm, also on that page)

I like it on a 19 woven (tropic?) NATO. Raf pattern, so not tall. Very comfortable. Colour is personal choice (mine's a very dark brown). Will try to post picture later on.

The flat vent definitely works well, but I really like those 2 piece nylon straps, in the drab colours.
Any suggestions on where to buy quality 2 piece nylons like the one in the picture?

Seiko rubber suits it best and makes the watch identifiable at 30 paces

If you'd said waffle strap I'd have agreed with you.

I can’t recall where I bought that, sorry, it was quite a number of years ago.

I’ve just remembered that it’s one of Eddie’s 2-part Rhinos.
