Incoming....First in a While.

So it has been a while since I've been able to share an incoming with you but this week I picked up what I thought would be a nice little modded Seiko SKX007. As it turns out it's an absolute stunner!

I've owned a few mods in my time but this is the best. The dial and sword hands are great quality; nice and crisp. The day / date wheel is also modded and the black on white lettering is sharp and perfectly centred in the window. The plain brushed chapter ring suits it beautifully and the bevelled edge crystal finishes the job.

It came on a Seiko oyster bracelet and, whilst I'm a bracelet man at heart, when I wore it yesterday there just seemed to be something not quite right about it.

So off came the bracelet, on went Eddie's new dark grey nato and....voila. Perfection.

It'll be on its way to Duncan (Cannop) next week for a tune up and pressure test so it'll be as good as it can be.

It looks good on that nato, I especially like the shape of the metal rings on the strap, it says "attention to detail".

It looks great, particularly like the face and hands.Regarding the nato, i disliked the new style but I'm gonna have to eat my words! I just love the colour, tightness of the weave and the new fittings!

That is a very nice mod. I am a big fan of day / date feature which you have in this lovely timepiece.

It arrived back from Duncan this morning regulated to 8 spd in four positions and pressure tested to 10 bar. Straight back on the TF dark grey nato and worn all day.

Happy as the proverbial pig

Natos....I've had a few. Some better than others. Some were more flexible. Some were tighter (oh yeah).

I can honestly say this one's the best I've ever had. Dark and sultry with a great weave; just like Beyonce. And with hardwear that grabs the length just the way you want it.

Looks great on the NATO too. Went to buy one on Thursday evening, but left it too late. That hardware really does look very sturdy :-)

Thanks, it's certainly the nicest 007 mod I've owned and possibly seen in my time. The more I wear it the more I see that too.
