Off to Corfu soon for a couple of weeks with SWMBO and two kids. Anyone have any recommendations of things to see and do? Quite fancy a boat trip across to Albania to tick another country off the list but nothing else is planned. Staying near to Kerkyra.
Get a day trip to Albania and visit the Roman ruins in Butrint. They are fantastically accessible and a great place for a wander.
There's a small restaurant in kommeno Bay before you go up the hill, opposite the water. I highly recommend it. Visit the main town, loads of places to eat and drink and really nice just to walk around.
Always eat where the locals go not the tourists
Go to Aggios stefano (that's how it's pronounced sort of) it's the Slone Square of the North West. We stayed there a couple of times. Lovely, with some great little seaside restaurants. You can hire boats there and have a nice cruise along Coast. If you are lucky you might run into Tony Blair, prince Charles or the Goldsmiths. Yes it's rather posh!
