i have been working away quite a bit recently. this has put me in an unusual watch related situation for me*, i have been selecting one watch to wear for the whole week, changing it when i get home for the weekend then selecting another to wear for the next week away and so on for 3 months.
one of my fave things to do when i get home is pick my first weekend watch (i probably wear 3 or 4 over the whole weekend, sad i know!!) invariably it is my seawolf (if i havent worn it during the week away).
so, especially for those of you who spend some time away, do you look forward to wearing something different when you get back? and is that typically any watch in particular?
*wearing a single watch for longer than about 12 hours
On the contrary, if I've been away and only had one watch with me I tend to bond with it am loath to be quick to change
Gray
Rolex gmt Pepsi. Love it so much
The last two times I've been away, the first thing I do when I get back is run to the bank and get my watches back!
In terms of what I look forward to wearing the most,
Currently this;
The two I am most excited to get on my wrist when it is their turn;
Surprisingly, the one watch I really miss when I don't wear it is my white-dialled Daytona. That watch has really taken me by surprise and I guess it vindicates the fact that I spent the best part of a year trying to source one in the right condition and at a fair price.
My Reverso. It only gets worn sparingly as it's my watch for special occasions.
I've been looking forward to this one coming back for about 10 weeks now...
I'm planning on getting down to 3 - and this'll be one of them - when it eventually returns from LVMH

Most times it is the one I am waiting to buy or is in the post having just bought it.
I love all my watches, it just depends on my mood / activity.
“Don’t look back, you’re not heading that way.”
I wear my watches strictly in rotation of weight order......don't ask! ....and the first sign of not wanting to switch and wear for the week is a sign that the watch needs to be flipped. I have two which I look forward to wearing in equal measure, but the 3717 Laureus Sport for Good Foundation just shades it from the 3234 Climate Action.

My 116610 gets the most wrist time - after my first scratch :-( before that i used to wear the Omega religiously.
My 1974 Tudor Monte Carlo. It's such a perfect watch for me. Every time I wear it it almost feels like it was made just for me. Perfect fit, perfect feel, perfect design, perfect everything in my view. I always look forward to wearing it, especially after I have worn more modern stuff for a while.
Another shout for the Rolex GMT.It means that I am out having some quality time with Friends or Family
Easy. The one I am going to wear next.
My job doesn't allow me to wear a watch, so when i finish work or my rest days, i get great pleasure in my selection of my watch.I don't have any particular favourite, it just depends on my mood.
Try as I might I cannot keep yearning and coming backback to my SKX007.
I think it has to be my Racing MkII. It's WR (or lack thereof) means that it's not a practical watch for me to wear every day, so it's always a joy to strap it on.
This one.
My fave watch by far is the Oris ProDiver Date so it's not difficult to guess which one I look forward to wearing.
The watch I don't have ;)
I look forward to wearing the Patek that I'm going to buy when my mortgage is paid and the kids are out of the way!
This... Because it means that I'm off on my holidays!!!
Bland answer from me but I look forward to wearing all my watches as they each have different characteristics and qualities.
Before this year I had the wearers and non wearers / reserved for best, but best never came and there was always an excuse not to wear them.
Now I wear a lovely Polar Explorer 2 as my everyday watch and occasionally spend a week with another in the collection, overall am enjoying my watches more than ever now.
I enjoy wearing my Calatrava which I wear maybe 3 or 4 times a Month. But my Daytona is worn on all weekends and most of the week too. Proper all rounder watch and I prefer a smaller collection these days.
My Damasko DA 37. Which sadly, is away to get a bracelet fitted
Probably my old Explorer 2. Just fits my wrist very comfortably.
