    Something to dwell upon...

It would appear I've become an accidental collector of Sea Dwellers! Just had my latest round of watch trading with Shalako (Steve) to take my tally to four.

Well you're definitely missing an SD4000! Do you wear them all (early days for the DSSD obviously)?

Apart from the one second from right you mean! ;)

I do wear thm all. The one on fabric is my current work watch and I alternate between the SD4000 and the Comex at weekends. The DSSD will have to find a place somewhere!

What is missing though is a double red. I trust that omission will be soon rectified.

Haha silly me, how could I have thought for a second you didn't have one? Probably signed over personally by the CEO of Rolex

Yeah double red as josh said

Not a big fan of the vintage stuff to be fair. Never say never!
It wasn't the CEO of Rolex Wayne. It was a man called Mark :)

The Comex is a 1997. Trit dial so a little old for my liking!
In terms of favourites. Obviously the Comex is a lovely thing but I must say, the one of the fabric strap was my first and I love it. It's a bog standard 16600 but I've had it a couple of years and along with my SPORK is the only watch I would consider 'mine'.

Ok so a 1977 end of line would be very old by comparison.

    Great line up.

Do you have any wrist shots of the 16600 on the fabric strap?

Its something I've been toying with for my next watch an older Sub on a fabric strap, but given how happy I am with my recently arrived SD4000, I think I might be swayed by another, older SeaDweller.

Very nice Dave. I don't even have one of the things and you've got a gang of em. I keep telling myself that the Dweller is too big for my ant like wrist and sometimes it works.

    I've a 16660 SD that I wear on fabric (mostly a GGB's zero-zero, I think) and I love it.

Thanks Dave, the bracelet was one of the main reasons I bought my new SD, but I really like the look of the 16600 on the fabric strap.

Christ, I whittle down the watches to one for a couple of years, decide to buy another versatile, rugged steel sports watch and keep just a pair and now I am already plotting the next purchase.....I think I need to work harder

Looks good on the fabric - what strap is it as it looks to be two piece, rather than a NATO?

It's like a shortened NATO. So one piece but more like a traditional strap.
Bought on EBay after a heads up on here.

The box was a present from the wife a few years ago. Really nice quality and the cushions are nice and secureso don't flop about as I've found with other boxes. I'll have a look and see if I can see a manufacturer on it somewhere when I get home.

    Thanks
    Dave
