    Oh HEQy thump!

Whilst helping another member out with getting hold of something they've fancied for a while, I've gone and done the same thing for myself……..ooops!

For those in the dark, this is a Seiko SBQJ017 with the non-thermo-compensated 8F56 high accuracy quartz movement – good for ±20 spy (seconds per year) in optimal temperature conditions and 12 hours on the wrist.

Great find and did you manage to track down one for sale as they are hard to find?

Just what I was wondering. These come up only very rarely.

That looks great - never seen that model before, is it JDM only then or just quite rare / few years old ?

    Yes, hence the thread.
Sheer good fortune since I stumbled upon it whilst having a general nosey – I wasn't actively searching for one.
Should have it next week, all being well.

    It was JDM only.
Rare enough that they don't come up all that often.
