New Mad Max. Pretty much two hours of car chases.
Really disappointed with it as it looked great in the trailers.

I can't agree with this. It managed to hold my attention for nearly three hours which in itself is a minor miracle. It does descend into silliness and sentimentality and McConoughey's mumbling dialogue was annoying but you really can't call it a totally rubbish film. The visuals alone were amazing and Nolan's use of practical as well as CGI special effects is to be commended.

What we do in the shadows. Meant to be a 'mockumentary' about a group of vampire flatmates living together. Maybe it's just me but I didn't laugh once in the 30 mins I watched before I had to switch it off. Just not funny at all. I honesty don't understand it's current imdb score of 7.6!

Jupiter Acending CRAP. Wanted to punch myself as I knew it was going to be

Why do film companies still throw money a the Waciowskis (if that's how you spell it) the Matrix was great..only the first one mind you. Every film they've done since that I've seen has been crap.

Watched Jupiter Ascending the other night

Bonkers plot - man with wolfs ears and magic roller skates, bees that recognise royalty, woman who owns the earth decides to clean toilets for a living. Bizarre.....

Way better than Interstellar though and the actress who cleans the toilets is very pleasant to look at

Another REALLY disappointed with Mad Max: Fury Road

And I say that as a big fan of MM and Tom Hardy. Impressive action for sure (most of it being non-CGI) but they certainly left the plot in Bartertown. Not one of Hardy's finest, I hope they do way better in the coming slots he's signed for.

R.I.P.D. was just on the telly. What utter cack, a sort of piss-poor Men in Black rip-off.

Mad Max Fury Road and Taken 3 are both on my list for this week...doesn't bode well! Hot Tub Time Machine 2 as well.

"Dumb and Dumber To" has just popped up on Sky movies so I jumped on that the other day - one I've been looking forward to seeing for months!
Sadly, quite a disappointment. There are some decent laughs in it but none of the fun of the first one, the innocence of the protagonists stupidity has been replaced by something much less funny - cruel pranks on each other and carbon copies of gags from the first movie. Not without its merits, but much more 'miss' than 'hit'.

The new Mr. Holmes (Sherlock Holmes) film with Ian McKellen

Made it painfully through the first 20 mins then had to give up and switch it off, just awful.

    I'll watch anything as well.

An absolute god awful film. We only got 30mins into it and couldn't stand it any longer. The acting was so bad it made me cringe. Stay clear!

You were lucky you didn't subliminally slip into a coma listening to that for over an hour.

Great city Seattle, have some good friends there. Only place I've ever been that's wetter than the UK.

I quite enjoyed 3, 4 and 5 (although I'll concede they're pretty formulaic), but 2 was an insult to the intellect of an ant!
