This has got to win most bizarre thread of the year.
I cannot see why people scream Rolex. It might be an Omega AT, but then it could just as well be a Seiko or Sekonda.

Surely it'd be hugely hypocritical to display such wealth in a vulgar show of western decadence, my money would be on a cheap but worthy Casio Ediface.
The bracelet looks a little like a TAG Link?
Need better pics to be sure.
Is it definitely his arm ??? they do swap them about a bit,
Definitely not this one:-
The bracelet looks a bit like the Seiko Monster bracelet, but it's definitely not a Monster (well, not the watch anyway). Could be anything really.
Is that the crown on the left of the watch? It does look like it to me. Either he is wearing a left hand crown on his right wrist (not impossible) or the image has been mirrored.
There are three things you never discuss on a forum: religion, politics, and cycling helmets. That said, it looks like a Tag to me. Hey, maybe he shops in Fraser Hart in the Drake Circus centre in Plymouth! I'm pretty sure I've seen one of those in there.
I don't think the image has been manipulated or mirrored, is it a still from the recently published video. I stumbled across the article likening it to Rolex or Omega and must say I am a bit sceptical to draw that conclusion. For me it could be any watch. That's why I posted it.
The guy is a crazy mass murder and its not even sure if the video shows al-Baghdadi himself, but that is not the theme of this thread.
Here is a short summary of the video showing him wearing the watch: http://www.dw.de/isis-declared-calip...nce/a-17761390
We did that in 2005.

Hopefully one with a GPS tracker...

The U.S.A Homeland security will now be monitoring this thread and will be along in a minute to tell us the make of his watch or was that a drone i caught a glimpse of in the background.
I'm not really sure exactly which bit you didn't understand, the question seemed reasonably simply worded.
I'll have a go anyway since you're having such difficulty...
The OP posted a thread asking which watch a guy, presumed to be a terrorist of some flavour, was wearing. You stated it was a bizarre thread. I posted a rhetorical question as an alternative thread title.
Don't worry about it, I doubt it'll change your life or mine.
Words on the internet, eh?
Of course it maybe possible that the information might be very valuable to our security services, it wouldn't surprise me at all if the CIA or whoever are responsible for publishing the article.
If the watch was purchased legit from an AD it should be possible to trace the guy through the financial transaction. Or if as suggested the watch may have been stolen from one of his victims, it may be helpful in the solving of a war crime.
Maybe they need our help? It certainly can't hurt can it?

Sekonda. Definitely a Sekonda. Shameful.
Dalai Lama wears a Rolex and al-Baghdadi a Sekonda?
Top journalism anyway...
"His choice of accessory, which is believed to be either a Rolex, Sekonda or £3,500 Omega seamaster"
Might be worth £30, but that doesn't make a great story.
Putin has a whole collection of high end watches-American Presidents often have nice watches-
I think if ISIS are to be taken seriously on the world stage it's only right their leader has a nice watch.
From a journalistic point of view, for sure, the article is pants- the headline should be
'ISIS leader wears a watch, we don't know what sort'
I hope he doesn't get involved on Sales Corner- I'm happy RMSD in the UK but I sure ain't posting any watches to Syria or northern Pakistan-
can't be doing with the hassle if he ain't happy with the watch and sends it back etc etc I'll get M15 on my doorstep
wanting to know about my contacts with ISIS etc etc-
to try to bring this to an intellectual level
Any religious significance with wearing it on his right wrist?
or has he only one arm
It's impossible to be sure but from the video it does look like a black Omega Planet Ocean, judging by the slightly curved upper links of the oyster-like bracelet. This suggests he likes James Bond, which is ironic considering Bond's affection for martinis and immodestly dressed women. And the fact that Bond would be pushing him into the shark pool if they ever met.
He's sort of the opposite of a brand ambassador, a walking product placement disaster. I hope Omega's PRs can resist the temptation to pay him not to wear it.

Whatever it is, the bracelet is poorly adjusted. Perhaps the watch swinging around helps to generate momentum when stoning, beheading, or the like?
You can be damn sure he will be upgrading soon....he has wiped out 4 years of western "investment" in
less than four months...take care with this guy....and all the fear and loathing just makes him stronger.
What watch should the ISIS leader wear? ChrWard maybe? Revolutionary. Challenging the establishment...or was that Seiko?
