It's a fake. Exactly how good can it be?
Hey guys currently in turkey came across this lovely looking shop glass shelving and everything sporting lovely gold pieces and diamonds also my friend who has a dad who is a jewler actually looked at the diamonds and confirmed as real. Anyways they had on sale a collection of watches and this one caught my eye, now am not very clued up about breitlings and was thinking it must be fake because of the price (around 200 lira) buthow good of a fake it really is. I managed to take a few pictures of the watch what do you guys think and if it is fake what model does the replica resemble heres the link to the pictures

How good a fake is it guys?

There are specific forums for fake watches mate were people will help you.
This forum isn't one of them pal.
The seller might have made a huge mistake with his pricing,or maybe he has negotiated a good deal with Breitling to sell their brand on his stall.......err I mean in his jewellery store.
It may be real.
What, with the glass shelving and everything
Post some holiday snaps for us.
Well 200 lira is around 55 quid or so and i was just wondering due to everything elsd thst we checked out being legit ie the diamonds the gold necklaces and other jewerly ohh btw am intrested in watches so il be posting a lot more dont get me wrong not just spaming or anything :) ohh were would you like me to post my holiday snaps il post some up now that ice got on my phone most have been taken with my camera though so i can get them up when back in uk
Hi, it's a pretty poor replica of a Breitling for Bentley watch. The trouble is that as this is an enthusiasts forum, fakes are held in pretty low regard. It's a bit like going on to a fashion forum and asking about the nice pair of Gucci loafers you picked up at Bovingdon market.
As has been said, there are dedicated forums for replica watches that will I'm sure prove helpful to you should that be your thing. If you have a love of watches, stick around, read a few posts and you'll soon discover far better places to put your £55 into!
Cheers and welcome
Dave.
It's a good fake not a great original
It's a fake breitling for Bentley. Kill it. Kill it with fire.
Put another £50 to it and buy yourself a nice seiko mate.
Dear lord, one of the 'Open Hearts' that mimic a Tourbillon. Sad.
Look at the shiny shiny
Thats all i wanted to know guys not buying it or anything happy with my current watch at moment just not the tan line it hss given me haha judt cause everything else was legit thats all
I am so pleased that somebody's opened this thread as I can now post a link to the fake Seiko 5 that is for sale in a kiosk outside the office.
Should I buy it, do you think?
Given the currency controls and fixed exchange rate in operation here it's probably more expensive than a real one.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
Usually my view on fakes is that your putting the money towards a fake when infact that money you used on the fake could go towards the real deal
That is the worst a restoring replica I've ever seen.
Wow TZ just hit a new low lol. This thread has to be a troll... How could anyone EVER think that's real?
I bought three pairs of Celvin Klain underpants when I was in Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. The Brightling reminds me of them in a sexy and underpanty way.
It was Christmas. I was walking across the vast plain. The snow was like glass. It was cold. The air was lifeless. No movement, not a sound. The horizon was round. The sky black. The stars dead. The moon carried to its grave yesterday. The sun not risen. I screamed. I could not hear myself. I screamed again. I saw a body lying on the snow. It was the Christ child. Its limbs white and rigid. Its halo a yellow frozen disc. I took the child in my hands. I moved its arms up and down. I opened its lids. It had no eyes. I was hungry. I ate the halo. It tasted like old bread. I bit his head off. Old marzipan. I continued on my way.
No what i ment by that is all the other shops around had genuine fake signs everywere people outside trying to husher upu into there store had thousands of watches on display all lined up next to each other selling oyher items like fake dr dre beats and ray ban sunglasses and was like walking though a indoor market this shop was all nice laid out nobody ushering you inside air conditioned men in suits who looked like they knew there stuff really it was like walking into i dunno george banks the jewlers in uk or goldsmiths the jewellers looked respectable and clean
Nobody selling punctuation marks, real or fake, by any chance?
this is why i had doubts all the fakes come out of stores like this
were as the shop i saw this watch in was this one as you can see it from my friends room of the hotel
as you can see the difference in the shops i thought it was like a genuine place thats why i was wondering about the price of the thing and why it was so cheap thats why am asking, its like if you went into say goldsmiths the jewellers you would not expect there stuff to be fake compared to say buying something of the market thats all.
Did you use a magic carpet to get a photo from that height/angle then?
Honestly mate, as funny as this is, I'd just stop adding fuel to the fire, go and get yourself a nice cold Efes and enjoy the rest of your holiday.
When you get home, come back on, introduce yourself properly and start talking about real watches and everyone will be pleased to see you.
David
Wasn't there a thread about fakes being sold in a 5 star hotel in Turkey? Seems pretty common over there I suppose.
You can see the shop is the real deal, dodgy character in cargo shorts with vest, having a word in the ear of the big fat bloke in the white shirt over the wall. All I need to know is, is the big fat bloke the owner of 'Pasha' or is he just a random member of the public taking a rest on the aforementioned wall.:)
Funniest thread on here in a long time
I bought a watch off eBay (I know serves me right doesn't it!!) which turned out to be a fake. Got an original breitling inner and outer box though so guess it had a silver lining!!
Blimey, so all you have to do is make your fake watch shop posh and buyers will believe it. Stick in some glass shelves and air condition your men and boom, you're in business.
There seems to be some uncertainty about whether they sell jewellery or jewelry it seems...or maybe they are making sure they snare the English and American market ? :)
It may be real,if the gypsy err I mean guy in the shop says it's real, why does everyone assume it's a fake.
Have a little faith in a fellow human being trying to run a successful business.
I was in that same shop several years ago and I got a great deal on some diamond earrings for the missus,he offered me either a Camel or a Sheep, but I told him it would be difficult getting them back to the UK which he understood, and so reduced the price of the earrings instead from £6000 to a bargain £4000 even without any haggling on my part, what a great guy.
I'll go back for sure.
The only question of fake in this thread is whether the troll is real or fake.
Go for it! Who couldn't find those fake Chrono pushers irresistible, especially on a simple 3 hander?
Sharm is full of 'high class' fake watch shops (In that the shops look high class, the watches are still fake ) - Fun to browse, but they want stupid prices even if you haggle.
