    Fedex came today, please bear with....

    So I started attacking the package, then a panic thought "what if its not a good un"

    So a calming cup of coffee got me onto the next stage;

    And the next, and the next, and the next

    Then more bloody bubble wrap!

    Anyway, then, my first and maybe only Rolex

    Then bracelet of, waiting to be sized;

    And straight onto a Nato;

    Anymore suggestions on straps will be gratefully received, and possibly followed up on.

    Wow what a watch, in phenomenal condition for its age.

    I cannot think of a better looking watch on a nato. Congratulations.

    Ive been thinking hard recently about a sub and had just talked myself out of it. Well lets just say thats undone now!

    Great watches and hugely versatile. I'd go for the skunk bond nato

    And another quick change before the nine o'clock news;

    I think I prefer the orange stripe "bond" to the black

    Fantastic watch. Congratulations. I know how special it feels putting on your rolex for the first time I did it just a couple of months ago and I still have that same feeling now every time I put it on.

    It looks very nice on the natos but for me personally the submariner looks best on its oyster bracelet.

    Enjoy it pal.

    Looks great on a NATO (and a perlon in that later picture)

    Some people advise against showing pictures of your serial number on open forums... for the fakers out there to get a verified genuine serial number, or possibly a notification to the lost and stolen register. You may want to remove those pics.

    I have to agree. I was never a bracelet kind of guy until I got my sub. It is definitely the best option. Nonetheless, I do go other directions.

    Oh…it's only another Sub. <sigh>
    And it started out with so much promise…..a bit like the England football team……only to end up a damp squib. Hey ho!

    Messing aside, enjoy your first Rolex and trying it on different straps – I give you a fortnight before you're bored and stick it on the bracelet permanently.

    Its back on already !

    Must try a RAF style nato, less thickness under the watch!

    Any pics/experience anybody please?

    Oh, and I did sleep with it on, of course.

    Had a 14060 on bracelet for 2 years until about 2 months ago when I regrettably flipped it. Was my only watch on a bracelet at the time. Always loved it on a black NATO but got mixed reactions from friends. Congrats
