Bracelet for the PRS14 (with SEL)?

    Gentlemen,

How many PRS14 owners would be willing to purchase a St steel bracelet with fitting SELs?
What kind of deployant and clasp would you prefer?
Length would be adjusted by removing links with screw pins...
The design would be a simple, Marcello C Nettuno style.

I would be interested, depending on style and price of course. Did you have some sort of group buy in mind?

Very interested, the main reason I've held of buying the prs14 is the lack of bracelet option

I'd also be interested depending on style.

A Bracelet would do it for me as well. The lack of a Bracelt has stopped me from seriously considering that Watch.

I'd love a bracelet with SEL for the PRS-14!

    Yes, sir.
The style would be similar to the Marcello, with just a tiny change on the SEL. The one on my Nettuno 3 is very confortable, easy to resize, the links are simple and lend themselves to easier refinish if needed, something that I certainly cannot say of my Seamaster Bond.

I wonder why case manufacturers like Fricker do not make the cases with fitting SELs, made for generic bracelets, like the one on the Nettuno, also used on onther brands.

But please be so kind to share your thoughts. I donīt intend to jump blindly on this. It would be great if Mr. Platts could give us an idea of how many PRS14īs are out there...

There are 142 of the PRS-14 in the wild plus 10 of the PVD ones.

My idea is to have a simple, solid bracelet. Nothing out of this world but confortable and reliable.

A bracelet like the Omega 1498 or 1998 would be ideal. In fact I would buy a PRS-14 then...

I would be interested depending on the pricing.
I do like the screw adjusted, robust bracelets - the one on my Marathon SAR is awesome 8)

The 1498 is indeed a beautiful bracelet, but the links are not as "maintenance friendly" as a more plain one.

Ohh hell yeah, I'm all in for this idea.

Owning both the Marathon and Marcello bracelet, I have often wondered
why other watch brands and aftermarket vendors don't offer similar or even
the same bracelets. With all the damn outsourcing in manufacturing I would
expect to have found a source for these, but haven't. Being an admitted bracelet
snob, I much prefer a watch with a bracelet and often I have passed on buying
otherwise nice watches simply because they came with a crappy bracelet.

Eddie, the minute you can add a quality bracelet to the PRS-14, send me the bill and ship the watch. :D

Luso, keep us posted on how this idea goes. I'm sure you will need to meet a certain number to make this viable.

    Best of luck,
    J.

I like that! Makes them rather rare, unlike a lot of other watches out there :D

Less 14s than DNs. I am a little surprised at that

Dreadnought = like a dog that speaks. Rare

PRS-14 = like a dog that speaks Norwegien. Even rarer
    Cheers,

    Ben
