    R.I.P. Sir Jack.

Once could almost imagine him supping a cold beer in Grand Prix Heaven with Denny and Bruce and the other greats of that era.

One of my boyhood hero's, I used to play with a replica of his car.

    RIP Jack

    Sad news.

I don't recall seeing him racing, but he always seemed a character when interviewed and his son's figured prominently in my enjoyment of motor racing, so my thoughts are with them.

    RIP Sir Jack.

    What a guy?

Saw him at the Goodwood Revival a few years ago when he had a bad shunt. There was not much news for some time and the atmosphere was awful.

I still can't believe he put his name on a Vauxhall Viva ;-).

The Brabham Viva had quite a lot of competition at the time IIRC

    RIP the man
